We are a Christian school - we seek to teach truth. God is central to our educational approach at Whittier Christian Junior High. We believe the Bible is the most precise revelation of God’s truth and must be central in our teaching. Our goal for each child is that he evidence growth in every area of his life - spiritual, academic, social, emotional and physical. We believe a structured, disciplined environment is most successful in helping us to reach our goal. We want you to understand that we are dedicated to the philosophy that the education of children is the parent’s responsibility and we at WCJH are being invited by you to help in that most important task.

Elective Classes: An "elective" is a subject which the student chooses. There are many choices. The elective program gives the student opportunities to explore courses in which he is interested. It also gives the student a chance to become familiar with studies he may have to take in high school. There will be a lab fee for a few selected electives. Elective classes meet one day a week...Wednesday during 8th period. Below is a sample of elective classes we offer. Understand that some of these may change from time to time.
