Whittier Christian WCSP provides a number of special programs and events to expand your student’s educational experience.
  • Two musicals are performed, in December and May. All students have the opportunity to participate in some manner.
  • School Pictures are also a part of WCS’ WCSP program.
  • Project Night at the end of May, is a chance for your student to display a special work of art, projects in science or other areas of study demonstrating their efforts during the school year.
  • Graduation is another special time of recognition for WCSP students and their families.
  • Curriculum  is available for a yearly lease of $200 per student and includes all texts, consumables and teacher’s editions.
  • On-campus Summer School program is available to WCSP students. Programs are held on both the Uptown and Maybrook campuses.
  • Assessment  All 3rd -12th grade students participate in standardized testing through Stanford Achievement Tests given in Spring each year (included in fees). Optional testing service is available for all WCSP students in math and reading level assessment. Friendly, non-stressful atmosphere is provided for the 90-minute testing that will help you pinpoint strengths and weaknesses in your students progress. $25/student per test
  • Field Trips  Whittier Christian WCSP provides monthly field trip opportunities which cover a variety of educational and enrichment areas. Trips are designed for parent/child participation. Field trips are optional but assist in enhancing your student’s course of study. Check the WCSP calendar for specific trip information. In addition to these all WCSP field trips, students in specific grades may choose to participate in WCS’ extended learning field trips to San Diego (3rd grade), San Francisco/Sacramento (4th grade), Nature Study Camp (6th grade), or the Historical Study Tour - DC Trip (8th grade).  Contact the WCSP Office to register for participation. Trip participation for 3rd, 4th and 6th grade trips with Newlin Campus only and based on space availability.  8th Grade trip participation based on space availability and parent accompanying student as chaperone on trip.
  • Instrumental Music (Band/Orchestra)  WCSP students are invited to participate in on-campus band or orchestra programs. Information is available through the WCSP Office. Students perform at musical program, various times on campus, and at ACSI instrumental events.  Check with the campus for pricing of lessons.
