Whittier Christian is pleased to provide an Extended Day program for our students at our Newlin Elementary, Maybrook Elementary and our Jr. High campus. This program is offered at an additional cost to the parents.
Extended Day is a well organized and well supervised place to leave your children while you are at work. Our staff is comprised of adults (18 years or older) who love both the children and the Lord. They have had training and a great amount of experience working with children.
While your student is in Extended Day they can take part in many exciting activities including organized crafts, painting, cooking classes, group games, board games, story time, movies, playground time and much more! We also have a Study Hall program in the afternoon where students can complete their homework while they are still in Extended Day. In the afternoon snacks are offered to students at an additional cost.
Hours: Extended Day begins at 7:00 am and ends at 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. Extended Day is not offered during normal school hours, only before and after school. We are open on select days when school is not in session, please check your annual calendar for specific dates.
Costs: There are two ways to pay for your Extended Day time. You can pay a set monthly rate or you can pay by the hour for the hours used during the month.

SUMMER DAYCAMP - "IN HIS HANDS" Luke 18:16
Summer Daycamp begins on June 16th! Registrations are still being taken. Late registrations will only be accepted if there is room. Our theme is "In His Hands" and the students will learn about Our Creator and His Creation. They will have fun planting and growing vegetables as well as going on many fun field trips.
